Dr. Bill Willis, Principal

My name is Dr. Bill Willis, and I am incredibly excited to be the new principal at Christa McAuliffe Elementary School. I have been in education for 19 years. During my career, I have taught 2nd, 4th, 6th, and 8th grades. Prior to becoming a principal, I served as an assistant principal for two elementary schools in Texas, and for the past seven years, I served as a principal in Chula Vista. In 2022, I received my Doctorate in Educational Leadership from SDSU.

Education has always been important in my life. I am passionate about education and making sure that every student has an opportunity to realize their full potential and see themselves represented in their educational environment . In my spare time, I enjoy spending time outside, traveling, and listening to music.

I am honored to serve as Christa McAuliffe Elementary’s new principal and look forward to meeting you all soon!
