Kathleen Holohan, Principal
I am excited and honored to introduce myself as the principal of McAuliffe Elementary. My name is Kathy Holohan, and many of you may already know me from my time as assistant principal. It is a privilege to continue serving our students, families, and staff in this new role. With nearly three decades in education, I believe that strong relationships, high expectations, and a positive school culture are the foundation for student success. My goal is for every McAuliffe Challenger to feel safe, valued, supported, and excited to learn each day. I believe that our families are essential partners in our students’ success. I look forward to getting to know you, listening to your ideas, and working together to make McAuliffe an amazing place for our children to learn and grow. Here’s to a wonderful year filled with learning, growth, and lots of Challenger pride!

I am thrilled to join the McAuliffe community as your new Assistant Principal! I am deeply committed to student success and community engagement. I truly believe that education thrives when schools and families work closely together. Throughout my 9 year career in education, my focus has always been on building a strong school community, positive behavioral support, and ensuring inclusiveness in all areas of school . Outside of school, I enjoy hiking, snowboarding, and skydiving. I look forward to meeting our incredible students, staff, and families, and I am excited for a fantastic school year ahead!
